Cody Scott is an industry analyst leading Forrester's research on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), cyber risk quantification (CRQ), continuous controls monitoring (CCM), and AI security risk management. His research focuses on continuous risk management, GRC engineering, cyber risk operations, and AI for GRC. As a former risk executive, he now advises government and Fortune 500 security and risk leaders on building effective risk and compliance programs that strengthen operational assurance while driving mission/business value. Scott is also a featured speaker at leading conferences, including RSAC, FAIRCON, and industry forums. Prior to joining Forrester, he served as the first Chief Cybersecurity Risk Officer of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), where he led a team building the space agency's enterprise cyber risk and resilience program.
